Medibüro Berlin and Medinetz Mainz are self-organised non-government projects in Berlin and Mainz. As anti-racism initiatives, both have been pursuing the goal of improving healthcare provision for refugees and migrants who, because of legislation in Germany, are partly or completely denied access to medical assistance. Thus, they direct patients to doctos and specialists who provide qualified treatment both anonymously and free-of-charge or for reduced rates.
